Healthgrades analyzed clinical performance across thousands of hospitals, and the results speak volumes: patients treated at hospitals receiving this award had, on average, a 60.1% lower risk of experiencing complications compared to those treated at non-award hospitals (2022–2024 data). This prestigious recognition places Highpoint Health – Sumner among an elite group of hospitals delivering exceptional outcomes for prostate surgery patients nationwide.

The hospital also received multiple Five-Star Ratings from Healthgrades, including:

  • Five-Star Recipient for Transurethral Prostate Resection Surgery (2026) – Patients at five-star hospitals had an 83.4% lower risk of complications compared to one-star hospitals.
  • Five-Star Recipient for Treatment of Diabetic Hospitalizations (2025–2026) – Patients at five-star hospitals had a 63.2% lower risk of complications compared to one-star hospitals.
