Community Health Needs Assessment
What is a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA)?
At our hospital, we are dedicated to our mission of making communities healthier®. To support this commitment, we conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years. This systematic process allows us to identify and analyze the specific health needs and challenges faced by our community.
The CHNA is essential for understanding the health landscape of our community, as it gathers critical data and insights into the issues that impact our residents. By thoroughly assessing these needs, we can appropriately allocate resources and develop targeted initiatives aimed at addressing the most pressing health concerns. This assessment not only informs our efforts but also promotes collaboration between our hospital's community programs and other local health initiatives, ensuring a comprehensive and unified approach to enhancing the health of the community.
