Grief Support
At Highpoint Hospice, we recognize that grief is a natural and normal process we experience due to loss in our lives. The loss of a loved one can be traumatic and cause intense feelings of grief and loss. Support groups are often helpful to individuals who are comfortable sharing their story and listening to other people's stories and experiences. Highpoint Hospice provides grief support groups to those individuals who need help healing.
Highpoint Hospice support groups are free, open to anyone in the community, and are facilitated by Cory McCaig, Bereavement Coordinator for Highpoint Hospice.
Our monthly Grief Support Group has an educational component as well as an experiential component, as each participant is asked to share with the group his or her own experience.
