Infusion Services
Highpoint Health offers outpatient infusion therapy, allowing your patients to safely receive medication intravenously in situations where oral medications may not be a safe or effective treatment option.
Some medications may require pre-authorization. We will schedule appointments to allow enough time for prior approval.
Who May Benefit From Infusion Therapy?
Patients may benefit from infusion therapy if they experience:
- Cancer
- Cancer-related pain
- Congestive heart failure
- Crohn’s Disease
- Gastrointestinal diseases or disorders that prevent normal functioning of the gastrointestinal system
- Hemophilia
- Immune deficiencies
- Infections that have not responded to oral antibiotics
- Multiple sclerosis
- Rheumatoid arthritis
