Show Support for Highpoint Health's Plans to Build a Wilson County ER
Wilson County is Growing. You Deserve Better Access to Emergency Care, Close to Home.
With the rapid growth of communities in Wilson County, residents need more access to critical emergency services. The proposed freestanding ED (FSED) in Wilson County, near the intersection of Highways 109 and 70, will provide 24/7 quality emergency care for adults and children in an underserved portion of the county, as well as provide the community with another choice in where they receive care.
We need the community’s support to gain adequate state approval required to build the facility.
The FSED in Wilson County will:
- Be staffed around the clock with board-certified emergency trained physicians
- Be open 24/7/365
- Serve both adults and children with acute emergent healthcare needs as well behavioral health needs
- Have 8 exam rooms, including a trauma room, diagnostic imaging services, and a lab
- Offer an excellent choice for healthcare in Wilson County
- Reduce ER wait times and overcrowding at other hospital and freestanding ERs
- Be committed to investing in the future growth of the community through charity care, job creation and educational opportunities for students
