Associate and active physicians have an office and home located no more than a 30-minute drive from the HighPoint Health System hospital(s) where they are members of the medical staff, unless the physician is part of a group with one member who meets this requirement. They also have unlimited admitting privileges at the hospital(s) where they are members.
Physicians and allied health providers providing care at this hospital are not employees or agents of this hospital. The physicians are independent medical practitioners who have privileges to practice medicine at this hospital. These physicians include, but are not limited to, emergency room physicians, radiologists, anesthesiologists, pathologists and hospitalists. The allied health providers include, but are not limited to, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and certified nurse anesthetists.
