Sumner Wound Care, Sumner Regional Medical Center’s (SRMC) outpatient wound treatment center, today named Brandon Mewbourne, M.D., medical director of the program effective December 1, 2010.

“We are extremely fortunate to have Dr. Mewbourne, a highly qualified surgeon who knows our wound care center and who has become a valuable asset to the program during the last year, take on the role of medical director,” said Mary Jo Lewis, CEO of HighPoint Health System. “Dr. Mewbourne will do an outstanding job leading this valuable and indispensable program at SRMC.”
Dr. Mewbourne and his family reside in Hendersonville, Tenn.
