RIVERVIEW REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER ADDS LEAH BANKER, MD, TO MEDICAL STAFF Dr. Banker specializes in Women's Health, Family Medicine and Pediatrics

Riverview Regional Medical Center (RRMC) has announced that Leah Banker, M.D., has joined its medical staff and will be offering family medicine care, women’s health and pediatric services to patients throughout Carthage and the surrounding communities at both the hospital and at Carthage Family Practice Specialists. 


“We are pleased to have added Dr. Banker to our medical staff at RRMC, giving the residents of our community more options to choose from when looking for a provider of family medicine, women’s services, and pediatrics,” said Rod Harkleroad, RN, MBA, CEO of Riverview Regional Medical Center.  “Dr. Banker will be a wonderful resource for Smith County and I am so pleased she chose Riverview Regional Medical Center and Carthage Family Practice Specialists as her home.  We welcome her to the community.”


Dr. Banker began her medical career as a nurse, receiving her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Ala.  She graduated from medical school at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tenn., and completed her residency training in family medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.  Dr. Banker is Board Certified in Family Medicine.
